Autumn Term

This term we have been practising our sentence writing. We know that our writing always needs a capital letter, finger spaces and a full stop. We also began to explore a range of sentence starters and adjectives.

These are the stories that we have looked at:

Spring Term

We have looked at a whole range of things in English this term.

First, we practised using adjectives to make our work engaging. 

Then we practised using time adverbials and different sentence starters. This helps to make our writing easy to read, as well as interesting. 

We have also looked at using different types of punctuation for different sentence types. We have loved learning about when to use a question mark and an exclamation mark.
