- Practice reading your red words out of order.
Challenge- Can you use them in a sentence?
- Read the book below to an adult. Don't forget to use your storyteller voice and answer the questions at the back of the book!
English
Do you remember the story of the elves and the shoemaker? Think about what adjectives we could use to describe those sneaky elves.
The sneaky elf has pink, rosie cheeks and a big, bright smile.
Have a go at writing your own sentences about the elves from the story.
Science
- Have a look at the everyday materials Year 1 on the BBC Bitesize page. Watch the video and have a go at the quiz.
- Think about the different properties of materials. For example, glass is transparent and hard but wool is soft and flexible. Can you remember what transparent and opaque mean?
